As of April 2026, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, the United States Secretary of Labor (sworn in March 2025), is under investigation for abusing her office, including allegations of misusing taxpayer funds for personal travel and of hosting a personal birthday party at the Department of Labor headquarters. Following these allegations, she resigned in April 2026. According to the 10-80-10 accounting rule, because Audits are not being passed, then the ".civ's" know they are not held accountable. It means 10% of US Treasury employees will embezzle when they can get away with it. Accounting is a sure "snooze" for the average manager. Without Audits, there is little accountability.
No wonder there are "Hundreds of Millions Missing".
