Together, we make a stronger military by letting Col's and Generals stop worrying about walking on eggshells. The Joint Chiefs must make passing audits a priority. Rather than hiring biased consultants, the Joint Chiefs should rely on the Academies to lead the charge. Only officers with training in ethics and the military code of honor should lead. They will make passing audits a reality. Two decades of the DoD not passing legally required audits is too much. Big 8 consulting firms did nothing to lead in the past. Thus, we need to trust our own academy people to get the job done.
